CHECKOUT AND ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

This Checkout and Enrollment Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the purchase enrollment, and

access to any online course, video, or educational content provided by Hand to Heart

(“Company”).

By purchasing, enrolling in, or accessing any Hand to Heart course, you acknowledge that you

have read, understand, and agree to the following terms.

1. Educational Purposes Only

You understand that all Hand to Heart courses are provided for educational and informational

purposes only. The content does not provide CPR, First Aid, BLS, or any other certification and

does not replace hands-on training or evaluation by any authorized training provider.

2. No Medical Advice or Professional Relationship

You acknowledge that the course content does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or

treatment. Enrollment in a Hand to Heart course does not create a nurse-patient, provider-

patient, or professional relationship between you and the Company or its instructor(s).

3. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

You understand that CPR, choking-response techniques, and first aid involve inherent risks, By

enrolling in a Hand to Heart course, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the

Liability Waiver & Release, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference and applies

fully to your participation.

4. No Affiliation or Certification

You acknowledge that Hand to Heart is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the

American Heart Association (AHA). No AHA training materials, certification cards, or

credentials are provided through this course.

5. Access to Course Materials

Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the

course materials for personal educational use only. Course materials may not be shared,

reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission from Hand to Heart.

6. Policies Incorporated by Reference

This Agreement incorporates by reference Hand to Heart’s:

• Terms of Service

• Privacy Policy

• Refund Policy

• Liability Waiver & Release

These policies govern your purchase, access, and use of the course materials and are binding upon

enrollment.

7. Voluntary Enrollment

You affirm that your enrollment is voluntary, that you are legally competent to enter into this

Agreement, and that you understand the nature and limitations of the course.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of

Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

9. Acceptance

By completing your purchase and selecting the required “I Agree” checkbox at checkout, you

acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by this Checkout and Enrollment

Agreement.
